Many online betting enthusiasts prefer to actively and regularly bet not just on sporting events, but on the individual performance of top athletes or simply their favorite athletes. However, in both individual and team sports, there is always a risk of injury, and it is especially disappointing if you bet on Kylian Mbappé scoring a goal, but the French forward gets injured early and is substituted. But now this is not a problem, thanks to DraftKings' “Early Exit” promotion – if an athlete leaves the game early due to injury, the bookmaker will refund the bet amount in cash credits.
DraftKings customers may be eligible for cash credits if a single bet meets the Early Exit criteria (the customer will receive credits in the amount of the original bet), as well as at least one event in an ACCA bet — the remaining events will remain, and the odds will be recalculated (if the bet wins, the winnings will be paid out at the recalculated odds). Early Exit applies only to pre-match bets placed through the DraftKings app or website on the statistical performance of individual players, and bets with selections that were unconditionally determined prior to the athlete's injury will not be considered for Early Exit. Similarly, “Under” selections will be calculated as “Wins” and will not be considered for early exit.
The Early Exit program applies to baseball, NBA basketball (regular season and playoffs) and WNBA, NFL football (regular season and playoffs), golf, NHL hockey (regular season and playoffs), and European soccer (excluding club and international friendly matches). Bookmaker customers can expect to receive cash credits as part of the “Early Exit” promotion within 24 hours after the end of the game (single bets) or the determination of the result of the last stage (Parlay/SGP/SGPx).
Bets on players who were injured outside the promotion period, live bets in real time, and bets on players who had already been settled before the injury, regardless of the status of the bet (won or lost), will not be considered. DraftKings reserves the right to interpret and revise the program at any time, making all decisions regarding eligibility for the program and its implementation.
